Voes V-BOX & M-BOX

The V-BOX and M-BOX are both breakout boxes that work perfect in combination with the MC-series. Their goal is to reduce your setup to only one cable.

The V-BOX works only with the MC-10 and uses an Ethercon or any other regular network cable (RJ-45).

The M-BOX will work with the MC-5jr, MC-5 and MC-10 and uses a 7-pin Midi cable.

Voes V-BOX

The Voes MC-10 has an extra Ethercon connector, called the V-link.

You can only use this connector in combination with the Voes V-BOX.

Connection between MC-10 and V-BOX is done by an Ethercon or any other regular network cable (RJ-45).

The advantage is that you only need one (common available) cable.

The V-BOX will split the signal into Midi In, Midi Out and Power.

This function is especially usefull when you use the Axe-Fx II™ Firmware, where you have to use 2 Midi-cables in order to communicate between MC-10 and Axe-Fx II™.

But even if you only use one Midi cable, you still have the advantage of keeping the stage clean, without a power supply.

Voes M-BOX

The MC-5jr, MC-5 and MC-10 all have an 7-Pin Midi Out connector.

This connector is able to handle Midi Out, Midi In and Power thru one Midi-cable.

This way you only need one 7-Pin Midi cable to connect to your Midi-device.

Some external devices, like the Axe-Fx II™ are able to handle a 7-Pin Midi signal.

Most external devices however can't handle the extra signals of the 7-Pin Midi signal. Therefore we offer you the M-BOX which will split the signal into Midi In, Midi Out and Power. (At all time, you can use the 7-Pin Midi Out connector with a regular 5-Pin Midi cable.)
