AXE-FX: Autoload presets from the Axe-Fx
DISCRIPTION: Sync with the preset-names and IA-states of the AXE-FX.
- PREPERATIONS ON THE LF:
- Make sure the LF can recieve MIDI by using a 7-pin MIDI-cable plugged into the MIDI-OUT
or an additional 5-pin MIDI-cable plugged into the MIDI-IN. - Name MIDI-channel 1 to Axe-Fx. See Naming.
- Make sure that the LF has Sysex ID = 127. See here where to do that.
- PREPERATIONS ON THE AXE-FX:
- Go to the I/O menu, MIDI page.
- Set SYSEX ID = 125.
- Set SEND REALTIME SYSEX = Tuner.
- If you had to make any changes, shut power to the AXE-FX off and turned it back on.
PART 1: S-button SYNC WITH
REMARK: you have to do this for each S-button you want to sync with a BLOCK in the Axe-Fx.

Which Function? Switch Menu | S1/P1 untill you see Switch Menu.
P4 to enter the Switch Menu. |
Select IA SW001 | S1/P1 move to the switch you want to Sync (P2 P3 to jump +/- 10 steps).

Auto Prog CC msg MIDI Chan = 01 | P4 untill you see Device Sync.

DEVICE SYNC FRACTAL AXE-FX | S1/P1 change it to Fractal Axe-Fx.
S4 to save and jump to the next step. |
FRACTAL AXE-FX Drive 1 | S1/P1 change it to the Block in the Axe-Fx you want it to sync with.

Liquid-Foot 1st Preset #001 | S1/P1 for the first preset on the LF to sync (P2 P3 to jump +/- 10 steps).
P4 for the next step. | |
DEV 1st PRESET? Preset #000 | S1/P1 for the first preset on the Axe-FX to sync (P2 P3 to jump +/- 10 steps).
P4 for the next step. | |
DEV LAST PRESET? Preset #252 | S1/P1 for the last preset on the Axe-FX to sync (P2 P3 to jump +/- 10 steps).
S4 to engage the syncing. | |
Auto Program CC? OFF | When ON it will automatically grab the CC# programmed into the AXE-FX
and program your IA switches for you. So if you set DRIVE1 to CC16 in your Axe-Fx and set auto program CC on, it will program ON CC16 value 127 and OFF CC16 value 0. | |
Clear MIDI MSGS? OFF | When ON it will erase all the previous settings of the presets you want to autoload.
ON or OFF it will always overwrite the preset name, and IA states. | |
Load: 000 - 252 | Syncing will start and you can follow the progress. | |
