BASIC: Set Tap Tempo
- PREPERATIONS:
- Find out which MIDI-channel the Axe-Fx is recieving data (channel 1 for me).
- Find out which CC you want to control TAP-tempo (CC 014 for me).

Which Function? Press P1 -> P6 | P3 to enter the Button Menu. |
Select a Switch S1 - S16 | S?? to choose your S-button.
If you want a S-button higher than 16, press UP and DOWN at the same time. |
Auto Prog CC msg MIDI Chan = 001 | P3 to jump to the next step.
Don't use S16 here! |
Switch Type Quick Tap | UP/DOWN untill you get QUICK TAP.
S16 to save and jump to the next step. |
on 01M01 AXE-FX C:B 1:014 2:127 | UP/DOWN untill you get M01 (Axe-Fx) midi-channel.
S15 to go to the next parameter. |
on 01M01 CC# C:B 1:014 2:127 | UP/DOWN untill you get B for CC.
S15 to go to the next parameter. |
on 01M01 CC# ? C:B 1:014 2:127 | UP/DOWN untill you get the right CC-number (14 for me).
S15 to go to the next parameter. |
on 01M01 DATA2 C:B 1:014 2:127 | UP/DOWN change it to 127, maximum (ON).
S16 to save and move to the next step. |
on 02M00 No MIDI NO MIDI COMMAND | Everything is set, we want to leave the MENU.
