BASIC: Set your Expression Pedal
- PREPERATIONS:
- Find out which MIDI-channel the Axe-Fx is recieving data (channel 1 for me).
- Find out which CC the Axe-Fx uses for the expression pedal (CC 33 for me).

Which Function? Global Menu | P1 untill you see Global Menu.
P4 to enter the Global Menu. |

EXP1:M01 AXE-FX C:B 1:033 2:OFF | This is where you set the midi-channel and CC.
S1/P1 for the right MIDI-channel (channel 1 for me). S3 for the next parameter. |
EXP1:M01 CC # C:B 1:033 2:OFF | Now we tell it to transmit CC (control changes).
S1/P1 untill you see C:B (CC). S3 for the next parameter. |
EXP1:M01 CC # ? C:B 1:033 2:OFF | Which CC we want to transmit? (CC33 for me).
S1/P1 untill you get the right CC (P2 P3 to jump +/- 10 steps). S4 to save and go to the next step. |
EXP2:M01 AXE-FX C:B 1:000 2:OFF | If you want to set the second Exp-pedal, you can do it here.
S4 to save and go to the next step. |
EXP1: Pedal Type *Continuous | S1/P1 to change it to *Continuous.

EXP 1 Pedal cal Press Pdl up/dwn | All lights will go ON. Move you pedal UP/DOWN and see the red light go UP/DOWN.

some expression pedals like the Roland EV-5, won't work properly with the LF Jr.
To check this, remove power from the LF Jr.
Hold down Menu + S4 and power the unit on.
You will see value 0000 (exp2) and value 0000 (exp1) across the top of the LCD.
Plug in your exp. pedal and rock it from toe to heel.
Values should go from 20-30 to around 900.
If your exp. pedal (like my EV-5) does not show those values then...well...you're normally screwed :)
You could try to fool the Jr. by calibrating with an expr. pedal that works (I took my FV500) and then switch it back to the "fault" (EV-5) expr. pedal.
Worked for me!
