BASIC: Set a S-button for CC (Control Change)
- PREPERATIONS:
- Basic Setup Jr.
- Find out which MIDI-channel the Axe-Fx is recieving data (channel 1 for me).
- Find out which CC you want to control (CC 011 - Drive ON/OFF for me).

Which Function? Switch Menu | S1/P1 untill you see Switch Menu.
P4 to enter the Switch Menu. |
Select IA SW001 | You have 64 (virtual) S-buttons.
For the Jr., see here how they are devided over the 4 layers. S1/P1 untill you see the switch you want to use (P2 P3 to jump +/- 10 steps). P4 to edit this switch. |
Auto Prog CC msg MIDI Chan = 001 | S1/P1 for the right MIDI-channel (channel 1 for me).
S4 to save and jump to the next step. |
Auto Prog CC msg CC# = 011 | S1/P1 untill you get the right CC (P2 P3 to jump +/- 10 steps) (11 for me).
S4 to save and jump to the next step. |
REMARK: By using the Auto Programming function, this S-button has now 1 ON-command (CC11 = 127) and 1 OFF-command (CC11 = 000)
Switch Type Stomp | S1/P1 untill you see STOMP (which is normal ON/OFF switch).
S4 for the next parameter. |
on 01M01 AXE-FX C:B 1:011 2:127 | Everything is set, we want to leave the MENU.
