A small footprint in 3 sizes:
Sharing the same code, data-files are compatible and exchangeable between MC-5jr, MC-5 and MC-10.
Ideal as standalone, as part of your floorboard or as an extra controller for your Midi-device.
Each button has up to 4 commands.
16 available commands: None, Program Change, CC on/off, CC off/on, CC on only, CC off only, CC custom, Expr 1 CC swap, Button on/off, Scenes, Bank Up/Down, Preset Up/Down, Page and All Other Leds Off.
Expr 1 CC Swap: change your Expr1 Pedal, e.g. from Wah to Volume. On replaces the CC and Ch of the regular Expr1 settings. Off returns to the regular settings.
Button on/off: sets another button on or off.
Scenes: compatible with the scenes feature of Fractal Audio Systems .
Preset Up/Down: a function not much found in other Midi Controllers. You can decrease/increase the current preset number.
2 Pages are available, giving control over 2 different layouts, each with 5/10 buttons.
Using a Page button toggles between page 1 and 2 and changes all buttons at once.
Press-and-hold: change one button to its respective button on the other page by press-and-hold.
Global: the on/off status of the button remains on a program change.
Steps: only the first command is executed. When pressed again, the second command will be executed and so on.
Groups: if a button, which is part of a button group, is pressed all other buttons in that group are turned off and then the selected button is activated. It's a very nice feature if you have FXs that are similar but never used together (like different drives) and avoids tap-dancing.
Auto on/off Expr1 Pedal: you don't need to sacrifice a button for turning the wah on/off.
Even with all its features, the MC still remains user-friendly.
Instead of using precious resources for editing on the hardware, which is a PITA to use, we thought it would be better to give you an excellent, easy to use Editor.
With the same layout as the hardware and a complete overview of all buttons and commands on one page, the MC is easy to program.
Simplifing the commands. On other Midi Controllers, a button has 6 parameters for each command. (Channel On, Command On, Value On, Channel Off, Command Off, Value Off). We reduced this to 2 parameters: Channel and Command, making programming easier.
Using the CC custom command, you can use more parameters if needed.
Use the USB-connector to connect the MC-5jr/5/10 to your computer.
Programming is a breeze since the editor will detect the hardware and auto adjust the layout with a complete overview off all buttons and commands on one page.
Switch between MC versions on the top right. The chosen version will be saved on data-files you create. Data-files are compatible and exchangeable between MC-5jr, MC-5 and MC-10.
Tabs for Page 1, Page 2, Global and Presets.
Name the first 32 presets with 16 characters or the first 46 presets with 10 characters or the first 64 presets with 8 characters. You choose!
Use the import button to import presets names from any TXT or CSV file.
